With more than 100 years of tradition, the Hammer works have specialised in the development and manufacture of innovative packaging and folding boxes.

It is our goal to pack more joy into the everyday, as well as the pleasant moments in life, through creative ideas and intelligent packaging solutions. To this end, we always work with passion, imagination and precision.

Quality Management
The Hammer Packaging Plant has been an ISO 9001-certified business since 1999, and represents a reliable partner to its customers.

At the same time, we consider it our obvious task to regularly examine our quality management system in order to ensure the quality of our products and processes, as well as to continuously improve them. Constant optimisation is a key requirement for being able to adapt to a constantly and quickly-changing market.

As direct suppliers to the food industry, we are additionally certified in accordance with ISO FSSC 22000 „Food Safety System Certification“ and can thus assure our customers of our compliance with standards for suppliers of packaging materials.

Sustainability
Our sustainability includes:

• Avoidance of waste in production through optimal material calculation
• Optimal utilization of the machines through lean production planning
• Use of mineral oil-free printing inks only
• Ensuring environmentally friendly production by reducing energy costs
• FSC® & PEFC certifications to ensure and support sustainable forestry
• Reduction of the hazardous substances used in production

Quality Assurance
We guarantee the provision of product quality and compliance with general and customer-specific order specifications through our trained staff in the Quality Assurance department as well as through meticulous in-process controls.

Hygiene Management
By establishing practice-oriented testing procedures, we ensure that the necessary hygiene standards are maintained at all times.

Environmental Protection
In manufacturing folding boxes, we are constantly looking out environmentally-sound and environmentally-friendly production methods. This is why we already check for the optimal capacity of the print sheets during the development phase.

In addition, we work exclusively with couriers whose quality, hygiene and environmental standards measure up to ours.
